It’s hard to be perfect when it comes to protecting our planet, but it’s better to do what we can than to not try at all! Manufacturing and printing any type of product will inevitably have some impact on the environment, but here’s what Pelikin Productions and our printing partner do to stay as eco-friendly and environmentally conscious as possible:
✧ Almost all of our products are eco-friendly (noted in individual product descriptions.) Our designs are printed on apparel that's made with the highest quality combed and ring-spun Airlume cotton, dyed using 7x less water and eco-friendly fabric dyes, and manufactured in a no-sweat-shop, humane, sustainable way.
✧ Our printing partner’s high-quality technology creates almost no wastewater and uses less energy than standard industry printers.
✧ The direct-to-garment (DTG) inks used to print the designs are eco-friendly, water-based, and non-toxic.
✧ Because we operate as a print-on-demand store, we only produce items as they are ordered, avoiding textile waste from overproduction.
✧ The poly mailer bags that our products are shipped in can be recycled wherever plastic bags are accepted. (Check your local area for grocery stores or other drop-off locations that collect plastic bags for recycling.)
